HealthTrekker Makes It To FeedSpot's Top 200 Health Blogs!

HT Hits The Top 200 At FeedSpot. Not WebMD Yet, But Still Great!:

I just wanted to say a heartfelt Thanks to Anuj Agarwal and everyone over at FeedSpot!

HT was recently chosen to be among their list of Top 200 Health Blogs, here.

While we’re not yet in WebMD territory, it’s always nice to be noticed and recognized for good work based on actual research studies!

For those of you who haven’t heard of FeedSpot, they are sort-of an all-in-one solution for the space left by the departure of sites like Google Reader and BlogLines…

According to their info page, they do Email Newsletters, Single-Location Content Aggregation for all your favorites, Curation of Lists (like the one HT was fortunate enough to get on), and Blog Promotion.

So they’ve got a lot going on over there, and for several different types of interested-parties.

Anuj was nice enough to get in-touch a short while ago and let me know about the selection, so it was a really pleasant surprise!

Side-Note: This was particularly well-timed, because it’s looking like Google’s “Medic” update may have really smashed a lot of health blogs like us.

(they just might have that effect on every single health site out there besides WebMD, HealthGrades & The Mayo Clinic!)

I mean if the bigger names you’ve already heard about took a huge hit, we will feel it here too!
