Great Idea.

Except research is VERY expensive, and it takes YEARS to complete trials on most things.

I wonder if there are any rewards trinkets of VC-like Stock Grants or Patent-License-Profit-Sharing based on the amount you contribute, the agreed-upon value at that stage and what it eventually sells for in the market.

Who knows, lots of projects that are eventually great start out pretty crazy…
