Now if they could just use the discovery to make some fancy topical pomade.
-Because through their experiments, the team at UPenn discovered not only the elevated presence of this protein under areas of skin that are bald,
But that if they applied it to a normally-hairy area, that area eventually went bald, too.
It wasn’t some odd outlier-type of baldness either. It was the typical thinning, then disappearance pattern you’ve heard about for years.
The gene the team found is called PGD2.
Now think about this: Wouldn’t it be AWESOME to find out if any of the old Folk/Natural remedies for baldness had an effect on PGD2 presence in male’s scalps.
-Especially the old, “Getting-A-Cow-To-Lick-Your-Head-With-Molasses-Trick”. I kid you not.
Here’s looking forward a future of better choice.
-That is, if a big pharma company doesn’t make it $100/week in today’s dollars to get.
