In a study of 12 1,200 people, Columbia researchers have come up with at least an association between Dementia/Alzheimer’s and Omega 3 intake.
-One that’s been hinted at many times before.
It turns out that people who get more were observed to have lower incidence of the “Doddering Granny” varieties of brain disease.
And in a strange-for-medecine interesting turn, There Was No Threshold.
-People who took in more and more seemed to do better than those who got the minimum study amount of 1 gram per day.
The participants who did had a minimum of 20-30% less of the Alzheimer’s-Signal-Flare-Protein, Beta-Amyloid in their blood.
And although the -Exact- relationship between blood, spinal fluid and brain isn’t yet known, the researchers assume basic correlation.
