[to which some YT-er will post the inevitable response-vid saying, “Hey Y’all, Watch This!!”]
-Ever wonder how much of something, harmless or not, that it would take to kill you?
Well from Mercury, to Polonium, Coffee, Alcohol, Water, Dehydration, Salt, Lack of Oxygen, Cherry Pits, Altitude, Height, Chocolate Bars, Marijuana, Loud Music, and Sleep Deprivation,
ASAPScience breaks out the numbers to answer your burning questions.
Of course, this is a fun video & most of these equate to ridiculous consumption amounts.
But some of them might surprise you.
Many people overdose every year on not only recreational drugs, but also prescription drugs, or even odd things like powdered caffeine.
(still waiting on the powdered alcohol stories to come in, btw.)
And Hyponatremia, or too much water & not enough salt is actually a very real concern for Marathon Runners during the summer; especially the female contestants.
In-fact, the US military did and may still hand out salt-tablets for GIs to take in persistently hot conditions.
Be careful out there!
